Great products! I would definitly reccommmed these for easy one man/women installation. Siding gauges are definitly worth the cost.

This blade was definitely brand new, and worked perfectly on the 37 Square of hardi plank siding we installed. The last cuts were just as good as the first. The blade shows no sign of wear. The price was about $45.00 less then any local distributor. You do need about a week to 10 day if you order with regular shipping. Another helpful tool for hardi plank siding is siding clips made by malco and sold through Harvey Industry they run about $18 a pair. another company called Solo sider has a simalar product but shipping will kill you.

I highly recommend the Hitachi blade for installing Hardie Board. I installed siding on a 2700 sq foot house and a 24×36 out building and the blade was still working great.

These blades are great: clean cuts, not terribly loud, and durable. Used them on a large Hardie siding job and would use them again.

Title says it all. Great blades. These things slice through fiber cement siding like a hot knife through butter. VERY low dust too. Long life on blade–I did a three car garage and attached 170 sq ft mudroom on one blade with no real noticeable dulling of blade. If you were siding a whole house or larger addition, you’d probably need two blades though.
